Chanelle Pharma Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointment
Galway, February 17, 2025 – Chanelle Pharma announces the appointment of Jacob Kurdziel as Head of Corporate Development, effective immediately. Jacob will drive the strategic direction of Chanelle’s next chapter as it embarks on its corporate transformation to position itself as the preferred pharmaceutical partner within both Human and Animal Health. Jacob will also oversee Chanelle’s most strategic projects via the Program Management Office to fuel growth throughout the business. He will join the executive leadership team and report directly to CEO Angelo Gatto.

Jacob is a strategic, results-driven people leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, honed through extensive international experience across the US, China, and Europe. He has held senior roles in both industry and consulting with Belgian Biopharma, UCB, where he led a transformative international analytics team, and global consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, where he was a core member of the Life Science practice leading projects with some of the industry’s largest players. These experiences saw him spearhead large-scale, cross-border strategy and transformation initiatives throughout the entire Life Science value chain.
Specialising in corporate strategy (including M&A, market entry, portfolio management) and commercial analytics, Jacob has earned a strong reputation for providing executive leadership with impactful strategic counsel and implementing successful, data-driven Go-to-Market models. His previous experience also speaks to his ability to inspire others toward a common goal by leading international teams and driving change management throughout the organisation.
Jacob is eager to contribute to Chanelle Pharma’s growth by shaping and executing key strategic initiatives in collaboration with the executive team.
