The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the Vet Sales and Marketing department. We are looking for an individual who will work to drive awareness and sales across Chanelle Pharma’s exciting farm animal anti-parasitic product range, in line with the company’s vision to be the most valued provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products in the UK and Ireland, and to provide excellent services and support to our customers. In this role you will report into the veterinary marketing manager.
You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and promotion related to our ruminant anti-parasitic range – currently ~30 brands – in the UK and Irish markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Creation of annual marketing plan, based on available budget and product seasonality.
· Creation of various marketing campaigns throughout the year, using your own knowledge and working alongside our Technical Vet to create novel messaging and concepts for video and print.
· Execution of campaigns through print and digital platforms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI on spend.
· Complete Management of Chanelle’s Farm Health First digital platform (website and social channels (paid and organic).
· Design and management of packaging concepts for new product launches.
· Creation of and maintenance of marketing assets as required to assist sales teams in the UK and Ireland (brochures, banners, promotional material)
· Planning and organization of various events across the UK and Ireland (e.g. conferences/customer open days) in conjunction with our sales teams.
· Management of Chanelle’s diagnostics programmes in UK and Ireland.
· Attendance of relevant NOAH meetings, via video link or in person.
· Management of the Chanelle Vet Marketing Intern Programme (2 Interns per year from UCD (1) and NUI Maynooth (1) will report directly you).
· Assisting Commercial Managers with product forecasting and demand planning.
COMPETENCIES:
· A strong knowledge of ruminant production systems in the UK and Ireland is essential.
· Organizational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key.
· Strong communication skills.
· Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others.
· Commercial mindset which will allow for maximum efficacy of marketing spend.
· The ability to demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation.
· A positive and proactive person who is energized by having great responsibility.
· A practical, action-orientated approach to managing priorities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3rd Level Degree in relevant discipline (Agriculture, Marketing or Business).
· At least two years’ experience in a relevant industry role (e.g. marketing, agri-food, pharmaceutical).
· Excellent written and communication skills.
· Full clean driving license
