The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the Supply Chain / Health and Safety function.  We are looking for individuals who will support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers. 

This role reports into Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, the DGSA will be responsible for defining the standard operational processes applicable to EU Dangerous Goods, implement / support the implementation, maintain and align these operational processes across the business in line with the current guidance and regulations for Dangerous Goods.


  • Continuous improvement: identify, analyse, develop, deploy and actively seek cross-functional coordination opportunities to improve processes, safety and customer experience.
  • Clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders including ongoing project/programme status reports as well as capturing requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing consultancy on all aspects associated with the consignment of dangerous goods.
  • Complete onsite dangerous goods compliance audits.
  • Audit report writing.
  • Complete dangerous goods annual reports.
  • Develop & Maintain in-house procedures for activities associated with the carriage of dangerous goods in line with current guidance.
  • Investigate dangerous goods related accidents and/or incidents.
  • Provide training on all aspects associated with the transport of dangerous goods.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on all queries related to the transport of dangerous goods.
  • Certification of Dangerous Goods Notes for the correct shipment of goods.

  • 3rd level qualification –. Health & Safety or a DGSA certificate would be preferable.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office.
  • Experience working with Dangerous Goods, Chemicals, toxins, explosives etc.
  • Experience working in GMP environment essential.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
